About the role

The Creative Communities team leads arts programs, place making projects and cultural initiatives that promote the creativity, diversity and vibrancy of the community and position the Inner West as a creative and cultural leader. You will lead the production, co-ordination and delivery of creative initiatives, projects and programs to facilitate diverse groups to enhance and celebrate local vitality and diversity.

As the Executive Producer, Creative Programs you will manage and deliver programs that activate a vibrant Inner West, through visual arts, creative expression, innovation in participatory and performing arts and cultural practice. You will lead the creative programs team and position Inner West Council as a leader in the creative industry sector.

Remuneration

$118,865.24 - $130,223.60 + 11% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications 

  1. Tertiary qualifications in art administration, social science, tourism studies, entertainment, business management and/ or equivalent industry experience
  2. Significant experience in the management of arts practice and managing delivery of large-scale community and cultural development programs.
  3. Strong experience and knowledge in contemporary management practices, staff management, performance management, staff development, change management, quality management systems
  4. Ability to manage diverse relationships at a variety of organisational levels and take a facilitative approach  
  5. Experience in financial and budget management.
  6. Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
