About the role

An exciting opportunity for a qualified HR professional to join a dynamic and supportive team. Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, the People and Culture Advisor provides administrative support to the People and Culture Team and plays an active role in delivering People and Culture services, information and advice to employees across the organisation.

The People and Culture Advisor has strong relationships with Council staff at all levels and is responsible for day-to-day P&C lifecycle administration including recruitment; on/off boarding, monitoring probationary employments, performance review and reward and recognition administration; systems administration and maintenance, testing and reporting; general correspondence and processing forms and invoices; and P&C project administrative support.

Working as part of a Business Partner team, you contribute in the provision of P&C information and advice and respond to enquiries. You will also assist in developing, implementing and managing P&C business processes to ensure the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the P&C function while providing the highest level of customer service.

Remuneration

$73,122 pa - $81,969 pa + Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications 

1. Demonstrated experience working within a People and Culture environment in providing high level administrative support, services and advice
2. Highly developed organisational skills and time management skills with ability to adapt and manage competing priorities
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Demonstrated ability to work across a range of administrative tasks
