We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Resource Recovery Team Member Loader to operate a waste compaction vehicle and oversee a small crew delivering essential waste collection services. This hands-on role involves supervising staff assigned to the vehicle across day or night shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely collection of general garbage, recycling, garden organics, clean-up services & lane and street cleaning.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining high service standards, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting your team to meet daily operational targets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment, takes pride in community cleanliness, and enjoys leading by example.

$73,016.32 - $80,330.12 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Demonstrated strong customer service focus and being conscientious and reliable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work safely at all times and actively ensuring the safety of your team members and others including the public and community at large.
- Suitable level of fitness relative to position.
- Ability and preparedness to work flexibly across any collection services in a team-based customer focussed environment.
- Experience in relevant requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act and a commitment to encouraging and influencing a safe and healthy work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in operating mechanical road plant in a high-density urban environment.
