Excellent opportunity currently exists for a skilled, motivated and diligent Building Maintenance Asset Officer to join our hardworking and dedicated Facilities Management team.
In this role you will undertake building asset management, including the development of planned maintenance schedules to deliver sustainable building infrastructure outcomes which meet the desired community and internal customer outcomes as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.
You will ensure that the property is safe for the public and staff and is managed to maximise the benefit to Council, the community and facility users.
You will be community focused and work collaboratively with the Facilities Manager, Coordinator Trades Operations and Workshop Manager to ensure the success of the service unit.

$63,805.56 - $76,116.56 + Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
1. Relevant tertiary qualification OR equivalent industry experience in asset management
2. Demonstrated financial management and budgetary experience
3. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of asset management principles and practices and experience in the preparation of forward works and maintenance plans and development of timelines for the implementation of minor works in line with asset life cycle
4. Good understanding of building fabric, building services and condition audits
5. Good understanding of the costs related to asset replacement (acquisition cost)
6. Class C Drivers Licence
