As Governance Manager, you will lead and manage Council’s governance functions with a focus on statutory interpretation, policy development, implementation and ongoing review, delegations, legislative compliance and stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

$166,566.20 p.a. to $184,696.55 p.a. - Total Remuneration Package
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Law, Local Government, Commerce, Secretariat, or similar relevant area, and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
2. Substantial demonstrated Local Government Governance experience.
3. Significant experience in statutory interpretation, policy development, and the planning and coordination of governance reviews and initiatives.
4. Demonstrated experience leading the development and implementation of governance initiatives, including delegations and legislative compliance frameworks.
