About the role

Provide specialist support in delivering Council’s Work Health & Safety (WHS), wellbeing, and enterprise risk programs. Working within a dedicated team, you will help implement and monitor WHS and wellbeing frameworks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to organisational wellbeing programs, and support compliance with WHS legislation. You will also assist with reporting to senior leadership and collaborate on return-to-work and workers compensation activities.

Remuneration

$128,100.96 -$140,855.52 + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated senior specialist experience in Safety related risk management in a diverse operational service delivery focused organisation.
Demonstrated relevant experience delivering safety leadership advice and support to resolve problems or investigate and respond to business continuity matters or serious incidents, where several complex alternatives need to be addressed
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective workplace relationships and stakeholder management through advanced communication skills and approachable style with a passion for risk management, safety improvement and customer service
Demonstrated project management skills, including a proven track record of systems/process improvement and delivery
Proven ability and experience in driving a proactive risk management and safety culture
