About the role

The Executive Planner position plays a pivotal role in appearing as the expert planning witness in Land & Environment Court appeals received by Council, as well assessing development applications, mentoring, and guiding junior colleagues in the expert witness role and technical planning knowledge.

Remuneration

$124,411.56 - $149,199.96 + 12% Superannuation  +  Access to Lease back Scheme OR Car Allowance

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications 

1. Tertiary qualifications in urban planning, architecture or equivalent.
2. High level of professional knowledge and skills of planning legislation and of planning concepts
   as they relate to development assessment.
3. Extensive experience in development assessment including experience in assessing complex
   applications.
4. Highly developed skills in effective communication, well developed report writing skills and clear
   oral communication. 
5. Experience and highly developed skills as an expert witness in the Land and Environment Court.
