The Contributions Specialist Planner position requires a suitably qualified planner with expertise and passion for local infrastructure planning including the planning and management of development contributions towards local infrastructure.
The purpose of the role is:
- To prepare, review and maintain Council’s Development Contributions Plans and associated frameworks.
- To prepare reports/strategies/plans and provide advice on a variety of infrastructure and development contribution matters relevant to Council.
- To manage and respond to internal and external customer requests associated with infrastructure and development contribution matters.
- Foster professional development and a positive culture through mentoring, assisting, and supervising where required of other planners
- Review and prepare submissions to contributions legislative reforms and industry trends.

$115,542.44 to $132,031.64 + 11% Superannuation + Leaseback
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications /and or experience in town planning or related discipline
- Demonstrated interest and experience in Strategic Planning, in particular Development Contributions and/or Infrastructure Planning.
- Excellent knowledge of Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Local Government Act and related planning legislation
- High level critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with capacity to solve complex and diverse issues in a timely manner.
