The purpose of the position is to provide high level administrative assistance to the Senior Manager and Managers of the Planning section by coordinating the daily activities of the office including handling enquiries, scheduling, arranging and preparing for meetings, producing correspondence and reports. The position will also liaise with external stakeholders in relation to matters associated with the Planning section to assist the management team

$32,054.67 to $37,318.74 based on 14 hours per week per annum (FTE $80,136.68 to $93,296.84) + 11.5% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Certificate level qualification or equivalent in office/business administration or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in order to provide high level administrative and operational support to service units undertaking planning functions or a similar technical service environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal, liaison and negotiation abilities including the ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with stakeholders, including staff at all levels and external entities
- High level computer skills, particularly in relation to word processing functions using the Microsoft Office package and in the use of databases and registers, with good keyboard/data entry skills
