As Student/ Graduate Civil Engineer – Traffic Services, you will assist and undertake infrastructure investigations; survey; concept development; stakeholder engagement; environmental impact review; design, specification and project cost estimating to deliver sustainable outcomes for road, traffic and transport related infrastructure. You will contribute to the social, environmental, economic and governance objectives of Council’s Community Strategic Plan. You will manage your work assignments to ensure delivery within planned timelines.

Trainee - $57,434.00 + Superannuation
Graduate - $77,450.88 - $87,620.00 + Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Recently completed or successfully undertaking latter years of tertiary studies towards the completion of a Civil Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers’ Australia.
- Ability to complete civil engineering survey and design projects under professional guidance.
- High level of computer literacy skills and ability to use typical corporate and workplace software applications. Familiarisation with the use of computer aided design packages.
- Ability to successfully self-manage work assignments to achieve goals and objectives.
